Community Gardens

City of Shorewood hosts two community garden sites. Shorewood residents and previous year gardeners have the opportunity to rent plots first, followed by non-residents. All garden plots are 10' X 15' in size. Garden sites are prepared by the public works department and ready for planting in May and must be completely cleaned out by the gardener in October.

Garden sites:
  • Freeman Park, 6000 Eureka Road (full for 2022)
  • South Shore Community Park, 5355 St. Alban's Bay Road (full for 2022)
Cost for garden rental:
  • $30 resident
  • $45 non-resident
