Zero Waste

Zero Waste is the process of attempting to send nothing to the landfill. Reduce, reuse, recycle and compost what you can. Landfill should always be a last resort.  This goal means you should think about every purchase: Is it necessary? Can I buy a lower-waste alternative? Can I repair something I already have, buy used or borrow? Doing anything you can to reduce waste makes an impact.
