Shorewood City Commissions and Boards


Shorewood commission and board representatives serve as advisors and are appointed to the city council.  Park and Planning Commission members are appointed for three-year terms beginning in March of the given year. Applications and interviews generally take place in January.  Additional board appointments and volunteer opportunities are posted on the employment/volunteer page.

Join Shorewood Park Commission!  We currently have vacancies on the board 


Residents are needed to volunteer for openings on the Shorewood Park Commission. The openings are due to resignations and term expirations of current commissioners.  The term limits may vary.  
  
The time commitment is approximately 4 hours each month.  Meetings are held once a month on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Park commissioners are appointed by the city council and serve in an advisory position for making decision regarding Shorewood parks and park activities.
