Election Judges

Election Judges serve our community in the polling places on election day. The City of Shorewood needs people for this exciting and vital work and will pay you.

See what is required of an election judge, qualifications, and opportunities for high school students age 16 and 17 to be student election judges.

Qualified individuals interested in being a Shorewood election judge can submit the Election Judge Application to the city. Required paid training is provided for the Primary and General elections. Various dates and times are provided.


Full-day (6 a.m. to approximately 9 p.m. or when the count is complete) or half-time shifts are available (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. to approximately 9 p.m. or when the count is complete). Election Judge assignments are made by the Elections Department.
