Galpin Lake Road

A proposed project for the City of Shorewood for which the city is requesting legislative funding provides a combination of sidewalk and trail along the eastern side of Galpin Lake Road between Hwy 5 and Hwy 7. This will complete a gap within the existing network and connect people walking and biking to Excelsior Elementary and downtown Excelsior.  It is possible that these improvements could be bundled 
with full street reconstruction and watermain improvement project along the corridor.
