Fireworks will go on as planned - will end at 10pm

Fireworks are tentatively planning to end by 10pm because the largest chance of storms at this time is now between 10pm-midnight. For latest updates, please visit Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce online or Facebook.


**updated 7/4  @ 10am** There is a 60% chance of thunderstorms beginning at 7:00 pm. A decision to postpone the 4th of July Celebration will depend on what happens after this round of isolated storms blow through. 

**posted 7/3** Excelsior - Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce will make the final decision regarding fireworks by 12 noon today, July 4.
Lake Minnetonka 4th of July Celebration events may be postponed due to the threat of severe weather tomorrow. As of right now the firecracker race, kids parade, and petting zoo will go on as scheduled.
 
Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce will make the final decision regarding fireworks by 10 am on July 4. In the event the celebration is postponed, the rain date for the fireworks will be July 5. There will be no entertainment or food trucks prior to the fireworks if the 4th of July Celebration is moved to the rain date. Fireworks will begin at dusk.
