Week of 9/5: Water Shut Down

[updated 9/5]

From Tonka Bay: There will be a watermain shutdown from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 6, in the red area shown in the map and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, in the green area.

Your water may be turned on earlier, depending on the scope of the work, but the project team will not have specific property information until the work is done.

This water shutoff is scheduled to occur during off-peak hours to ideally impact the fewest number of people. If you are planning to utilize water during the shutoff, it is recommended you have a pitcher of water stored in the fridge.

Your sewer will still work since it is gravity operated. However, the water your toilet bowl uses to flush will not work. It is recommended you fill your tub with water and have a small bucket next to the tub. When you need to flush, simply fill the bucket with water and pour it into the toilet.

This may affect residents living on Timber Lane, Birch Bluff and Lee Circle
