Public Works will be performing a few tree removals Sept 18-30  that involve road closures during the working day and/or roads being reduced to one lane for a few hours.

On Wed, Sept 20 a tree will be removed along Summit Avenue.  Summit  Avenue will be closed from Murray Hill Road to Shorewood city limit of Summit Ave.  A majority of the work will take place at the intersection of Murray Hill and Summit.  Work is scheduled to begin at 9am and expected to end before the end of the day. 

A second tree will be removed on Suburban Drive. This date is yet to be determined. This post will be updated once this date is scheduled. Once work begins, Suburban Drive will be closed between Rustic Way and Idlewild Path.  Work is scheduled to begin at 9am and expected to end before the end of the day. 

A third tree will be removed along Vine Hill.  When that work begins, traffic along Vine Hill will be restricted to one lane between Shady Hills Road and Waterford Place.  This date is yet to be determined as well. This post will be updated once the date is confirmed. Work is scheduled to begin at 9am and expected to end before the end of the day. 

Lastly, some trees on the island are also scheduled to be removed.  The roadway will be restricted down to one lane during this process, as well. These dates are yet to be determined. This post will be updated once the date of removal is confirmed.
