**11/3 Update** Freeman Park Trail - Pavement Work to Begin Nov 6
**Update on 11/3** Due to a change in weather forecast, crews will begin paving trails on Monday, November 6. This work will take 2-3 days to complete.

Crews will begin paving trails on Tuesday, November 7. This work will take 2-3 days to complete. Concrete flat work, topsoil grading and restoration will be completed after trails have been paved. This will also take approximately 2-3 days. Please note, this schedule is tentative as all work is weather dependent.
The trail segment on Prestwick Court will be paved after Freeman Park has been completed.
The park will be open for public use during construction. Please watch out for construction equipment in the area.
Project Background
The City of Shorewood and Three Rivers Park District have coordinated to construct a new trail head connection for the Lake Minnetonka Regional Trail at Shorewood’s Freeman Park. The project includes the reconstruction of other paved trails in Freeman Park and includes ADA improvements and culvert replacements where necessary.
